Thrilling news….just spotted the first bluebonnets of the season this morning on my drive into work. Wow, I now live far enough out of the city to enjoy a daily wildflower tour. Everything is popping in my yard, need to get some pics this weekend. DH is leaving town for a week, a whole week. My mind is swirling with all the the projects I want to tackle with a whole week of uninterrupted (except for the times I must go to the office) time for myself.

Have a serious old lamp jones these days. I bought this chartreuse beauty a few weeks ago and a turquoise & gold one yesdterday. Great antique shopping out in my new small town.
Finally, the end is in sight for the lace stole. I hope to bind off tonight. We’ll see how soon I actually weave in and block.
