Summertime…
…and the livin’ is easy

Okay, maybe not around this house. We’ve been remodeling our second living room this summer. We have left this room totally empty since we moved in and decided to save the work the hottest months, or more likey, it’s when we had the cabbage to do it. We’ve done alot but we have decided to wait until it cools off a bit more to resume. Look at how hot it it this week…we have not seen a day below 100 for over two weeks.
Woohoo… Gracie’s Two
My friend’s daughter just turned two and I finally gifted her with a couple sweaters I’d knitted for her. All my other friends have boys so I am always thrilled to knit something girly for a little one. I am working on a MDK Moderne Log Cabin for MY HOME in plums and browns and sages. A year ago I would have cringed at the idea of knitting such a large project but it’s become so much more about the process than the actual product that I enjoy just picking it up and working on it bit by bit.
