Okay, so maybe completing two (3 if I get a move on) pairs of socks doesn't seem like much of a fest, but more like a small gathering. But here I offer you the first pair of honest to god wearable (seriously wearable) full size socks I have ever knit. They have yet to be blocked, but I could not wait to show them off.

Yesterday at work I noticed that when I started to type in an email address the auto fill popped up with my mother's name first in queue. I mean it's been there since I keyed it in, right, but it feels like I only noticed it yesterday. A while later I realized it was the 3rd anniversary of her passing away, and I still have her number on my home phone too. I guess I'll erase them when I'm ready. I thought of my sister, Kelly and how much I admire her strength and how she is so giving. She was amazing when mom died, amazing.
