I ordered this lamp shade from Moon Shine Lamp & Shade for this chartreuse lamp a few weeks ago and it arrived yesterday. I absolutely love it. It took a few weeks to arrive but it’s well worth it. I’m deciding on my next shade already.
While I am happy about the fact that our newly planted trees are getting a great start with all the rain we’re having… I’m tired of mowing twice a week.

I hate to say it, but I don’t know if like knitting socks. I know, I know everybody  just races about ’em, but it just hasn’t clicked yet. I will, however, keep on trucking on my Dublin Bay sock, I haven’t given up yet. I harvested 2 strawberries from my window boxes yesterday.

We bit the bullet and replaced our exterior AC unit on Saturday…it’s shocking how poorly our other unit was working, happy to be cool.

Kel, you were stunning in your dress. I cried a little… especially when the dancing started. I’m sorry but that took some serious cojones! It was a sweet and joy filled way to end the ceremony.
 

Last night I missed my sister’s live wedding webcast and found out this morning that our AC compressor has hit the skids… no air conditioning ALL WEEKEND people…I live in Texas!

Well, my fonts kept crapping out on me at work,  making even the simplest of tasks feel like threading a foot through a needle.

About the only bright spot was finally getting my invite to Ravelry! So I imagine I’ll be uploading WIPs, FOs and coming clean about my stash in my damn underwear.
