I finished Jessica’s hat and have sent it to her in New York…she said her head was cold. I have decided to name this hat a “Bubbie Hat”… Jess, just grab one of those metal shopping shopping carts to pull behind you and you’ve got complete look. I’m making myself one in olive.

Spring Fever
The sun is shining and Lady Bird’s wildflowers are pushing through the dirt along the highways. My own wildflower garden is growing even while I’m here with my nose pressed against a monitor…I’ll have to take pics this weekend. It’s so beautiful today it hurts to be inside. We are in final deadline today and I am not focusing at all. I have a huge window to stare out, I guess I shouldn’t complain. I keep thinking back to all my report cards that read, “daydreams a lot in class.”
Went to Cirque du Soleil Tuesday night. It was so beautiful, the costumes were amazing. The “Aerial Straps” had the humanity to smell really good when they flew by your head…nice touch.
I am starting to knit a sequined “Old Lady” hat for Jess today. I have posted pics of my Wavy Scarf that I finished just before Steve and I flew to Seattle.
