I mean… who would not want this quilt?

I was just sifting through previous posts and was looking longingly at the lovely green and luscious garden I had earlier this summer. The heat was just unbearable for the tomatoes after July was upon us. I do have some eggplant, tomatillos and jalapeños growing, and choking in the heat. It’s either time to plant an actual fall crop or cutting flowers. I’m leaning heavily toward the latter.

The quilt? Look to your right to find out about the giveaway at Old Red Barn Co. Jury’s still out on the video.

My sister sent me this! It was one my mother’s cameras. Kelly bought me the jazzy 60mm lens… yeah, something else to learn! I was listening to Joanna Newsom on the drive in to work this morning, and it reminded me of my mom, it made me sad. I cried a little, then I had to laugh, because seriously… how many people can say that Joanna Newsom reminds them of their mother?

I just received my Spoonflower invitation and am dreaming up all kinds of fun. I’m thinking I really need to chill and not get so excited about the gazillion projects I have going on. I’ve been goccoing away the past few weeks and will be uploading stuff in my etsy shop soon. I’m in the process of matching up envelopes, rethinking paper choices, sizes, oh and can’t forget packaging. The mind reels with all that’s involved… thank goodness etsy makes the rest so easy.
