Last night we attended a local art show where my husband was showing some of his paintings. It was the first time ever for him to show his work publicly, and when we arrived one of his paintings had already won a prize by the art show committee. I was so proud, I think he was very surprised, but I wasn't. My husband is one of the coolest, bravest people know. He learned to surf at 43 years of age and had his first art showing at 46… I couldn't be more proud.

Oh my gosh, that’s just the sweetest. Congrats to your hubby! I hope I find someone that I’m similarly proud of and inspired by someday. 🙂
