Being There

Last night I watched this movie again for the first time in a long time. Funny how once upon a time this plot wouldn’t have seemed plausible. Favorite quote, “That was a very small room”.

It’s not everyday that you can step out for lunch and come back with yummy empanadas, handmade earrings, letterpress greeting cards and a poem. But you can here for the next two Fridays. I scooped up goodies from the following vendors: G&M DrygoodsEyaClaire, Beautifully Bevilled, Elementals, Yapa Artisan Empanadas and the very cool Typewriter Rodeo (hint, they will be at Texas Book Festival this weekend. Speaking of which I need to be sure there is nothing in my desk drawer I don’t want the Secret Service for a certain former FOTUS rifling through tomorrow morning.

And finally, a new kitchen trick. I need to try this method because I hate peeling garlic, and more importantly, I hate having garlicky fingers. Yuck. Though simply “washing” your hands with stainless steel utensil will work, this method skips both the sticky and stinky parts.
