At lunch I had acupuncture and picked up a sesame noodle salad to eat at my desk. My two lovely coworkers showed up with a red velvet cupcake from here… deadline is winding down early and there is pie and queso down the hall… end of issue party.

why I will NEVER have a clean house. We are such weeny dog owners. really. I can only imagine what kind of demon child we would have if we'd had one. Stomping all through the house, painting the walls with grape jelly, potty mouthed, and probably smoking by kindergarten.
new life for a sad skirt
I restyled this denim skirt that was oh so schlumpy and Branch Davidian on me. The skirt was way too long so I cut it at the knee and added this hand made patchwork binding. It still looked a bit too neat for my liking so I cut the top seam of the binding and it's now nicely frayed….perfect. Now I'm digging in my closet for other sad clothes that may find a new life.
