I’ve sent my camera off to hospital. In the meantime I realized I have this freakin’ camera on my phone…and I just figured out how to send a pic to my email! woohoo. These may not be as lovely as my Sony Cyber Shots’ images, but will have to do in the meantime. I’ve been sewing up a storm and dying to take some pics. I’m off to the fabric store at lunch to find some binding for my first ever baby quilt. I’ll post pics when I’m done. I shot this image to test out my camera phone… this is just a small portion of a painting by a friend of mine, it hangs at the foot of my bed and the first thing I see every morning…it’s so very sweet. Last week DH and I were at a local cafe for dinner and a 2 year-old in the next booth was all bathed and in his footie pajamas. It took me way back to going to the drive-in during the summer months between 5 and 8 years old. My sister and I would take our baths, slipped on our pajamas and loaded in the station wagon. We would back into our spot, hook up our crackly tinny speakers and watch the movie on our bellies. The car smelled of Ivory soap, popcorn and line dried blankets.
